FortisBC Dual Fuel Heating System Rebate
Up to $4,000
Up to $8,000 for income-qualified customers. For qualifying heat pump and gas furnace systems installed on or after October 15, 2026. Eligibility and terms apply, including:
- Replacing an existing gas furnace that is at least 15 years old
- A new central ducted heat pump paired with a new compatible high-efficiency gas furnace, with an AHRI certified reference number
- A switchover temperature of 5°C or lower in the Lower Mainland
- Installation by a Technical Safety BC licensed gas contractor that meets FortisBC's current HPCN contractor requirements
