"VanHeat Services recently completed maintenance on four systems at our home: the AC, air handler, tankless water heater, and HRV. Shaun was very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough... VanHeat Services is now our go-to company for maintaining the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in our home."
"We live in Cyprus and have a rented commercial property in Vancouver. We had an issue with the VRF system two nights ago and called Vanheat Services for urgent help. Their crew showed up the very next day and fixed the rooftop unit very quickly. The price was also very reasonable. The Vanheat technicians were professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Vanheat Services for commercial and strata properties."
"...the inspection was thorough enough to actually find another issue with the boiler system, which is required to keep the house warm in winter. Both issues were fixed within a few hours... I highly recommend this company if you are looking for quick service appointment and affordable price for parts or replacement."
"Technician was prompt, professional and friendly. Cost for annual servicing of our furnace and tankless water heater was reasonable. We will definitely be calling them again next year."

Common HVAC Problems in Delta Properties
HVAC issues Delta properties can experience, what can cause them and how they are usually fixed.
Salt Air Corrosion Near Boundary Bay
What you see: Corroded outdoor coil fins, rusted cabinets or loose electrical connections on heat pumps and AC units, which can occur in coastal areas such as Tsawwassen, Beach Grove and Boundary Bay.
Cause: Salt carried in sea air settles on outdoor equipment and can speed up corrosion of coils, fins and connections over time.
Fix: Maintenance with coil cleaning and a connection check helps catch corrosion early. If a coil is badly corroded, repair or replacement is quoted in writing, and we can advise on unit placement and coil protection options.
Crawlspace Moisture in Ladner Homes
What you see: Musty air, condensation on ductwork or a damp crawlspace around the furnace, which can occur in low-lying, dyke-protected areas such as Ladner and East Ladner.
Cause: Low-lying conditions and seasonal ground moisture can contribute to higher crawlspace humidity, particularly where ventilation, drainage or duct insulation is inadequate, and ductwork or equipment in the crawlspace can then collect condensation.
Fix: We inspect ductwork, insulation and equipment in the crawlspace and quote any repairs in writing. Improving ventilation or sealing and insulating ducts can help.
Aging Furnaces in North Delta Split-Levels
What you see: A furnace that short-cycles, rooms that never reach set temperature or a blower that runs constantly, which can occur in older split-level homes in areas such as Sunshine Hills, Annieville and Scottsdale.
Cause: Original or older furnaces wear with age, and ductwork designed for older equipment can restrict airflow on a newer system.
Fix: A diagnostic identifies the failed part and checks airflow. If replacement makes more sense, we quote a furnace, heat pump or dual fuel system in writing after a free in-home estimate.
HRV Service in Strata Townhouses
What you see: Stuffy air, condensation on windows and lingering cooking odours, which can occur in newer airtight townhouses and condos across Delta.
Cause: Airtight construction relies on the HRV for fresh air, and filter and core service is easy to overlook.
Fix: HRV service covers filters, core cleaning, the condensate drain and the motor, quoted in writing when you book. Strata buildings can arrange building-wide servicing in one visit.
Rooftop Unit Faults in Tilbury Commercial Buildings
What you see: Uneven temperatures across a shop or office, a rooftop unit that trips or short-cycles, or noisy fans, which can occur in commercial buildings such as those in the Tilbury area.
Cause: Rooftop units are exposed to weather year-round, and filters, belts, coils and controls need regular service to keep running reliably.
Fix: We diagnose the rooftop unit, quote repairs in writing and can set up scheduled maintenance. Commercial work is quoted in writing after a site assessment.

Why HVAC Service in Delta Has Its Own Considerations
Three things shape how we approach HVAC work in Delta.
Three Separate Communities
North Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen are separated by farmland and Burns Bog, so travel between them takes time. We confirm the arrival window when you book.
Coastal, Low-Lying Terrain
Much of Ladner and Tsawwassen sits close to sea level near Boundary Bay and the Fraser River. Salt air and damp ground affect outdoor equipment and crawlspace ductwork, and mild coastal winters suit heat pumps well.
Varied Housing
Older North Delta split-levels, Ladner village homes, Tsawwassen townhouses and newer strata buildings each bring different equipment, from older gas furnaces to ductless heat pumps.

Heat pump installation typically costs $3,000 to $5,500 for a ductless single-zone system and $6,000 to $14,000 for central or multi-zone systems, and furnace installation starts from $6,000. We quote the options in writing so you can compare.
