The diagnostic fee is the same flat rate ($149) regardless of which of these cities you’re in. Fraser Valley calls (Surrey, Langley, Delta, Maple Ridge, Mission) are quoted with travel built into the price upfront, no surprise charges.

Furnace installation runs $5,500 to $13,000 depending on efficiency tier. Heat pump installation runs $14,000 to $20,000. Boiler upgrades run $4,500 to $15,000+. According to FortisBC, qualifying high-efficiency furnaces and heat pumps are eligible for equipment rebates up to $1,200, and per the CleanBC Better Homes program, qualifying cold-climate heat pumps may receive up to $6,000 back.

Yes. Every Vanheat technician is Red Seal certified, and our gas fitters hold Class A and Class B Technical Safety BC tickets. According to Technical Safety BC, gas appliance work in the province is legally restricted to ticketed gas fitters. We provide ticket numbers on request and stand by every install with manufacturer-backed warranty registration.

Yes. We service residential, commercial and strata properties throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. Strata buildings receive consolidated commissioning reports and per-unit pricing with volume discounts on multi-unit installs. Commercial rooftop units (RTUs), boilers, and split systems are quoted separately based on tonnage and access. We can coordinate with strata managers and property managers for after-hours work to minimize disruption.

Three rebate paths exist. According to FortisBC, qualifying high-efficiency gas furnaces (96+ percent AFUE) and heat pumps receive up to $1,200 in equipment rebates. Per the CleanBC Better Homes program, replacing fossil fuel heating with a qualifying cold-climate heat pump may receive up to $6,000 back, depending on eligibility. Per the Canada Greener Homes Loan, qualifying upgrades can be financed with up to $40,000 interest-free. Vanheat Services guides clients through rebate applications as part of qualifying installs.

No difference in pricing or service quality. Apply the 50 percent rule. If a single repair quote exceeds 50 percent of replacement cost AND the unit is over 12 years old, replacement usually wins on lifetime value. For furnaces under 8 years old, repair almost always wins. For units 12 to 15 years old with rising bills and frequent repairs, replacement deserves a serious look. We provide both quotes side by side at the assessment so the math is clear.
